Many of these photos are taken with high levels of contrast and displayed in black & white or very saturated color schemes. It is my intention to capture the battle between dark and light; between urbanization and nature.

As the sun pours in through windows, doorways and staircases, the mask of time is lifted, revealing a process of rebirth. Left untouched by man, many of these industrial landscapes will become the epicenter of new life.
